We will arrive in New Orleans the week before Fat Tuesday so you will have a chance to witness the spectacular sights and sounds of New Orleans' famous Mardi Gras celebrations as celebrated by the residents of New Orleans before high volumes of tourists arrive. You will enjoy elaborate floats, marching bands, dazzling costumes, and the festive atmosphere that makes this event world-renowned.
During our venture, we will explore one of America’s most acclaimed museums - the National WWII Museum with engaging, interactive exhibits, historic artifacts and the 4D film “Beyond All Boundaries” narrated by Tom Hanks.
You will enjoy a relaxing riverboat cruise in New Orleans along the Mississippi River, have a personally guided city tour of New Orleans and visit a local plantation.
